LLB (Swansea), LPC, LLM in International Business Law and PhD (Swansea)
Lowri joined the Shipping & Trade Team in 2022 and is teaching International Intellectual Property Law on the IISTL LLM programmes. Lowri also teaches on the undergraduate LLB Law programme. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Lowri holds an LLB (hons) from Swansea University, and after completing the Legal Practice Course, she worked in practice for several years before returning to her studies to complete an LLM degree in International Business Law and then taking up the opportunity to study for a PhD in Law. Lowri’s research interests lie broadly within the areas of intellectual property law and WTO trade law, particularly in relation to the issue of enhancing access to medicines globally.
Lowri is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars and the Socio-Legal Studies Association.
